First confrontation with anger

First confrontation with anger

Jay was lost in a world where anger and actions of anger were playing a great part. He was taken out on his first quest: to confront his anger.

He was a young man again and went in empty streets in a strange city. He felt the anger like acidic flames raging inside him. It was dusk and he headed for the steep roads up to the highlands of the city, but everything around got darker and darker as he ascended up the hills.
The darkness turned into a reddish mist and it was difficult to see as the view was blurred by the mist that was floating around in the forested area had come in to. Now and then he could see glimpses of creatures like big dogs and tigers, snakes and ragged people. Suddenly a light breeze swept through the mist and he recognized a man he had hated for many years who had died many years ago. It was his uncle and he looked like he had just com up from the grave. He was stinking and his skin was black and tainted. He had done unspeakable misdeeds to Jay when he was at the age between 13-15 years.
Jay felt the anger reaching new heights and it was hurting inside his stomach, chest and head. He screamed at the red shadow and thwarted shadowy appearance of his uncle who was standing quite still with an ax-hammer in his hand. Jay looked around for something to defend himself with or; as it occurred to him after a couple of seconds; to kill his uncle; even though he already was dead, but here he was as an answer to his wishes to slay him and cut him up in pieces...
He looked down at the windswept ground and saw something glimmering lying there; a sword! He swiftly picked it up and screamed. His uncle didn't react to his screaming; he was just standing in the same position, never moving; as if he was waiting for him to slash him and indeed; that was his intention!
He held the glimmering sword tightly in his hand and challenged his uncle who didn't even move.
Jay came close up to him, lifted the sword which was in flames now, burning his palm, but he charged on and stuck it into his uncles neck. some kind of black and stinking liquid came seeping out of the wound, then it turned into a fountain rising several feet up in the air; it had a horrible stench to it. His uncle was smiling now and letting go of his ax. Then he rose his hands up in the air and screamed in delight!
Then he slowly faded away and some of the red mist with him...

Jay didn't feel well about this and walked ahead to see if he could see his uncle again. He found him under some trees where he was lying on the floor under some trees. He was looking up to the misty sky. He was still smiling and looked satisfied... Jay went up to him and stopped in front of him saying: "so you think that's it?!" Try this instead; and he swung his sword again and decapitated the man and then he tore his pants off and slashed like mad at his genitals until they were looking like minced meat...
His Uncle was lying on the ground now with the chopped off head a feet away from him; still with a smile on its mouth...

Jay felt betrayed. He screamed in agony and rose up from the bed he was lying on. He was confused; not knowing where he was. "This is not good, L.J. , my uncle has been releaved from his pain I guess, but what about me? I feel very bad about this!" "Fine!" L.J. said.
"Why is it fine? You said I would get rid of my anger, but I only feel betrayal and I am more angry than ever before!" "Fine!" L.J. said again. "We are not finished yet. Your anger goes so deep that you need strong shock treatment to heal from it."

"Now, just rest, Jay or take a walk outside and see if you can find Pearly. She is taking a walk in the hills here."
Jay just fell back into the bed, but L.J. urged him to get up. He lay still for a while and then rose up. "I guess fresh air will help", he said and put on some clothes. He was still groggy and shocked from his incident with his uncle.
